During Michael Scott's time at Sabre owned- Dunder-Mifflin Scranton Branch, the minority executive training program helped one of his employees Kelley Rajanigandha Kapoor upskill herself under the print in all colours initiative. Michael dialed up Kelley and asked her to set him up with one of the people she knew at Yale and she talked to him for about 1 hour and let him know that he can just schedule a campus visit from the website. Apparently there was a 360 degree virtual visit that helps get some experience for the students at Yale. And of course Michael went through it before visiting the campus coz he said, "I don't trust the GPS on my car because it made me take right inside a lake". After all, after getting a flat, and getting a rental, what can you do. Well, better late than never, right? Ladies, Gentlemen and everyone, Michael Scott- the man who has led 2 Ivy League affiliated employees. You heard that right.

He had a camera with him and recorded himself and this is what it said-

“Alright, listen up, everyone! So I’m strolling around the campus, you know, just casually saving the world one paper company at a time, when I end up at Evan Hall. Turns out it’s where all the Yale SOM MBAs hang out. But here’s the thing—I didn’t bother to check the class profile before I showed up. No way! I told myself, ‘Let’s surprise Michael Scott today!’

And surprise I got! The second I walk into that hall, I start seeing people who look like mini-Stanleys, taller-Angelas, and even a Kevin with hair! It was like walking into a Dunder Mifflin reunion but with fancy degrees and better coffee.

So, naturally, I whip out my phone, snap a pic of one of these folks, and send it to Kelley. I text her, ‘Is this your sister?’ Because, I mean, if the class at Yale is globally renowned and diverse, it makes perfect sense that Kelley’s sister might be hanging out here too, right?” Classic Michael Scott move! High five for international intrigue and family look-alikes!

Yale's mission just went right through the heart of Michael Scott, "Educating Leaders for Business and Society". Now came the time to witness the different centers and since by this time Michael has gotten good at it, he just went on a little adventure of his own. When Michael looked at the Program on Entrepreneurship, he just knew he had to take the Startup Founders Practicum and Studies with Kyle Jenson. When him and Kyle bumped in the hallway, Kyle told him that the course is application based and Michael asked if he can apply without getting into Yale, rendering Kyle mute. But Kyle seemed pretty enthusiastic to have met Michael.

Michael did seem to have some ideas for the website for the Entrepreneurship club. As Michael really wanted the website to not reflect the condition of an Entrepreneur as he started out- Broke as he almost went twice (as we know the additional role he took for telecom sales). He loved looking at the startup success stories though. Speaking of broke, Michael actually loved to see the Donor-funded Entrepreneurial Award and Yale SOM Entrepreneurship Fellowship. And cherry on the top was the exposure to broader Yale University with Yale Ventures.
Michael bumped into the students couple of times who ended up reminding him to definitely look at the employment report. A lot of those for the past decade were available on the website. But good for Michael too see the diverse industries students are going into. Here is the pdf in case you need to have a look right here though (Property of Yale University).

There was so much more to Yale that Michael decided to stop his research and grab a snack in the neighbourhood. The student experience at Yale really helped Michael during his research on the MBA program. What lied ahead was to go through the MBA Application requirements and look forward to Michael's trip to MIT and finding out more about Harvard. But he did register for some events on Yale's events page for admissions.

Lots of things to do on Michael's to do list- Columbia Essay, continuing Harvard MBA research, MIT Research (which has not even started). And Michael decided to head back to Motel and start working on his applications and research.
