DISCLAIMER- We have decided to use this profile from a beloved TV show to only demonstrate how an application of someone looking for an MBA looks like in a fun and light hearted way. We don't own the rights to the TV show but under fair use, only using the publicly available information in a speculative way to see what MBA Conquerors would have done had someone like him reached out to us. We have no ill intentions towards anyone and every discussion moving forward with this article being the first, is only to encourage a light hearted humor while looking at the MBA process. This is merely a roleplay way of helping people understand the MBA applications process.
While we cannot disclose our clients personal details to help people create their own applications, we can surely look at some public fictional figures and speculate and show how you can do your MBA Applications yourself. This, in conjunction with our DIY Blogs, is going to help many prospects understand how to apply the principles we teach in DIY blogs in a slightly fun manner. A little sense of humor with an objective to help more people who have no one to help with their applications.
Setting up the theme
For the purpose of this roleplay admissions journey series, we have Charles Irving Bartowski, AKA Chuck from the beloved spy-action/romance TV Series: Chuck. We will be picking up exactly where the TV Show left of- the beach at which Chuck tells his wife, who forgot everything about their life, everything that they have lived through. Chuck's life will take more turns and probably open up a side of Business schools not thought of before. Secrets, suspense, drama and MBA Applications. Okay! we get it. Admissions have much less to do with secrecy, or does it? And Chuck gets a call immediately from general Beckman, informing him of a few secret societies in the West coast Schools and a few in the European schools that have a plan to sabotage the Universities and their educational standards, affecting the overall educational experience of thousands of students who will not be able to graduate and will remain under a significant debt that can affect their livelihood negatively. Chuck decided to take an honest approach and work hard to take the GMAT over the next three months and reached out to us to guide him on his pursuit of an MBA Applications and we were told all about the mission- to help Chuck leverage the Admissions process and produce the best application possible with his civilian work experience to get into the MBA Programs. While we were told under the contract with Carmichael industries to also help Chuck step into the unknown, where he is trying to uncover who is who and cannot trust a soul when he engages in the coffee chats. Additionally, we were reached out my another member of the company, John Casey for an Executive MBA, whose journey will be released later- where the approach unique to application of a veteran has been taken.

By now, you must already know where this is going but you must have realized one thing, Chuck has made it big in the world in the past few years, right?
Leadership experience and direct reports-
Beginning with the experience as Nerd Herd Supervisor, Chuck had multiple direct reports with a minimum of 6 members over the years. He was also in line for assistant manager for the branch in the 5th year at Buy More, an electronics retail store in Burbank with multiple other branches.
During his time as the CEO of Carmichael Industries, he had two partners and worked in the primary capacity as the face of the company until Sarah Walker-Bartowski departed due to a major life threatening situation- things can get pretty intense in personal security, weapons and defense industry, right? Chuck is still working at Carmichael industries with Morgan Grimes, his best friend since childhood, and John Casey, while having a close working partnership on select projects with Verbanski Corp, operated by Gertrude Verbanski, a close personal associate with prior experience of working with John Casey AKA Alex Coburn.
Extra curriculars-
Multiple trips around the world to- weapons expo for project reconnaissance and client meetings.
Travel locations: Paris (France), Prague, Switzerland, Costa Gravas, Mexico (technically not by choice), Russia (impossible choices are still choices, right?)
Hobbies- Regularly engage in Art auction, Symphony, Weapons expo, Gala and events to promote cultural awareness.
Entrepreneurial Experience-
Chuck's Entrepreneurial experience goes beyond traditional entrepreneurial experience. It is an experience in something emerging in the MBA space- Entrepreneurship through Acquisition (Discussed further in the Acquisition of BuyMore Burbank and acquiring liquidated capital from Volkoff industries).
As for traditional entrepreneurial experience, Chuck and his wife Sarah, along with their marine friend Colonel John Casey started Carmichael industries as a freelance spy company from the acquired assets of Volkoff Industries.
That's right y'all things are about to get real at MBA Conquerors- thrill, adventure and the adrenaline rush of the story is just coming across already!!
Acquisitions & Partnership Experience-
Chuck's Acquisition of the assets of Volkoff industries came across after his work with Vivian Volkoff's upon her assumption of leadership of the company inherited to her. Chuck allowed the peaceful transition of power and managed the post-inheritance security of Ms. Volkoff. Upon realizing that Volkoff industries can no longer be secure and that Vivian McArthur Volkoff will not be able to sustain the leadership, Alexi Volkoff- upon his release decided to inherit the assets of the company to Chuck as a wedding gift for his demonstration of leadership helping the Volkoffs get out of a complete collapse and in exchange for security for life.
Post-Acquisition led to the formation of Carmichael industries that received full capital to bootstrap the initiative and to the new acquisition of Burbank branch of BuyMore which retained its employees in entirety.
Passion and Purpose-
During the events before Chuck got the call suggesting the security concerns at the schools, Chuck's wife, Sarah, suffered through Amnesia, triggered on her last mission during her mental torture that led to severe deterioration of her mental health leading to permanent memory loss for the past few years of her life. During this instance and over the past years, Chuck's sensitivity to mental health has increased and he has actively been involved in the cause.
As for Chuck's purpose, national and international security have been paramount in helping Chuck have greatness thrusted upon him. He never thought he was the right guy but he never got a choice. And this puts him in a position to stick and align with a singular purpose- To improve global security. For the MBA Applications, Chuck decided that he will step outside the shadows.
MBA-
To make a case for his MBA Applications, Chuck knows that there are venture capitalists that specialize in weapons industry and then there is the veterans group that he looks to recruit some people from. None of it is a lie, because Chuck did need to expand Carmichael industries in different regions and needed leaders. As MBA does aid in his entrepreneurial pursuits, he seems like a better fit for MBA than an MS.
Target Schools-
West Coast B-schools and EU MBA programs
The Mystery will reveal itself slowly as he steps into the unknown to uncover the truth and embarks on his MBA journey- old team Bartowski back at it again.
Excited what lies ahead and how the MBA Application process will look like for Chuck? Stay tuned as we release his resume.
